The main goal of the P1/P2 Work Integrated Learning Programme is to give learners hands-on work experience that helps them finish their academic studies and get ready for a career in the mining and minerals industry.
Students from the Universities of Technology will be placed at Richards Bay Minerals.
They will take part in a structured program that is aligned with their university’s requirements. This program is made to give them valuable experience and help them develop both technical and professional skills in a busy and real–world work environment.
We are looking for applications from students studying in the following areas:
– Engineering and Humanities Disciplines
Minimum Requirements:
– Unemployed South African youth
– Final year student at the University of Technology
– Grade 12/Matric certificate
– Minimum National Driver’s License code B
– Must not have had any work experience (P1/P2 or vacation work) before, whether it was funded by SETA or the company
– P1/P2 is a requirement to graduate
– Domicile address must be in the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, KwaZulu Natal

– Attach your Curriculum Vitae
– Attach a stamped letter from the University of Technology stating that P1/P2 is required (minimum 12 months)
