PROGRAMME INFORMATION
The Santam Learnership Programme is an entry–level opportunity designed to develop a steady supply of skilled individuals who can help the company achieve its goals.
It aims to address the skills gap in the financial services industry. Completing the programme, along with passing the FSCA exam RE5, will allow learners to apply for professional membership with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) in the MIISA category.
Who can apply?
– Minimum 50% in English and a second language
– Minimum 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematics Literacy
– South African citizen
– Currently unemployed
– Between the ages of 18 and 28
– Not studying at another institution during the learnership
– Not previously done a Short-Term Insurance Learnership through INSETA
– People with a disability must provide a medical certificate confirming their condition
– Less than 1 year of work experience
Who cannot apply?
– People with a qualification after Grade 12 (such as Higher Certificate, National Diploma, Degree, or Honours)
– People currently studying for a qualification after Grade 12
– People with more than 1 year of work experience
