Internship Overview
Ardagh Glass Packaging is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainees Programme for students who need practical workplace experience (P1/P2 or experiential training) to finish their studies.
This programme gives students real–world experience in a busy manufacturing setting.
It helps them develop technical skills, learn about the industry, and become better prepared for the workplace. Trainees will work with experienced staff and take part in actual tasks in different departments.

Duration: 12-month fixed–term contract
Fields of Exposure
Successful trainees will gain experience in the following areas:
– Human Resources Management
– Chemical Engineering
– Instrumentation / Electronics
– Safety and Environmental Management
– Operations Management
Role Description
The programme is meant to help trainees support daily operations in their assigned department while gaining practical experience that matches their field of study in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Help with daily tasks in the assigned department
– Support supervisors and team members with projects and tasks
– Gain hands-on experience with manufacturing processes
– Follow safety rules and company procedures
– Complete training and workplace assessments as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following:
– Have completed Matric / Grade 12
– Be computer literate
– Have good communication and teamwork skills
– Show a strong work ethic and be eager to learn
– Be currently enrolled at a recognised and accredited institution
– Need WIL / experiential training to graduate
– Provide a P1/P2 letter from a University of Technology or an experiential training letter from a TVET College
