Overview of the Experiential Training Programme
This chance is part of the N3 Ashburton Interchange Upgrade Project.
It gives students the opportunity to work in a real job setting in the engineering and construction sector.

The program is for students who need P1, P2, or TVET Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to finish their courses.

Students studying the following can apply:

Universities of Technology (P1/P2)
Civil Engineering
Quantity Surveying
Construction Management
TVET Colleges (NATED)
Civil Engineering

Who Should Apply
 

This is a good opportunity for students who:

Need P1 or P2 training
Need a WIL placement to graduate
Are studying engineering or constructionrelated fields
Want reallife experience on an infrastructure project

Skills You Will Gain

Construction site activities
Engineering measurements
Project planning and coordination
Safety rules
Managing materials and quantities
Understanding how infrastructure projects follow rules and standards

Minimum Requirements
 

Universities of Technology Students

Letter from their institution (no older than 3 months)
Certified academic record
Certified ID copy
Proof of where they live
Signed logbook (if P1 training is already done)

TVET College Students

Applicants must send:

CV and cover letter
Signed logbook from a previous job
Letter from their TVET College (no older than 3 months)
Certified academic record
Certified ID copy
Proof of where they live

You must have completed at least 12 months of WIL experience before applying
