Overview of the Experiential Training Programme
This chance is part of the N3 Ashburton Interchange Upgrade Project.
It gives students the opportunity to work in a real job setting in the engineering and construction sector.
The program is for students who need P1, P2, or TVET Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to finish their courses.

Duration: 6 months
Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
Students studying the following can apply:
Universities of Technology (P1/P2)
Civil Engineering
Quantity Surveying
Construction Management
TVET Colleges (NATED)
Civil Engineering
This is a good opportunity for students who:
Need P1 or P2 training
Need a WIL placement to graduate
Are studying engineering or construction–related fields
Want real–life experience on an infrastructure project
During the programme, students will learn about:
Construction site activities
Engineering measurements
Project planning and coordination
Safety rules
Managing materials and quantities
Understanding how infrastructure projects follow rules and standards
