LOCATION: Joint Support Base (JSB) Garrison, Thaba Tshwane
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have ABET Level 4 or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a cleaning services environment.
Must know the different types of cleaning materials and how to use cleaning equipment. Must understand the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Must be able to manage a large team. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well. Must have problem–solving and analytical skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the cleaning services effectively.
Inspect physical areas to make sure they are clean and hygienic. Check that cleaning equipment is available and in good condition. Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment in different buildings. Order, receive, and distribute cleaning materials. Prepare cleaning reports. Create cleaning schedules for various buildings. Report issues to higher–ups in a timely manner. Manage leave for staff under supervision. Monitor and handle discipline among subordinates. Manage staff according to PMDS guidelines.
