About the Learnership Programme
Learnerships and skills development programs in the mining sector are approved by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Training follows set Unit Standards
Credits are recorded in the MQA database
Upon completing the program, learners get an MQA certificate
A formal Trade Test is needed at the end of the learnership
This program includes both classroom and hands-on training

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
N2 qualification with these subjects:
Mathematics (Not Mathematics Literacy)
Engineering Science
Industrial Electronics
Additional Requirements:
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science (Mandatory)
N2/N3 Engineering Studies (Mandatory)
Valid Driver’s Licence Code B/EB (Preferred)
Dover “B” Symbol (Mandatory)
Pass the Technical Test Battery Assessment (Mandatory)
English Literacy (Mandatory)
Good written and verbal communication skills
