About the Dispensary Support Learnership
Dis-Chem is offering learnership positions for people interested in working in a pharmacy.
The main goal of this learnership is to train people who can complete the Basic Pharmacist Assistant Course.
This learnership teaches important skills in the pharmacy world, such as how to dispense medicine, manage inventory, serve customers, and understand legal rules.
It provides real–world training with support and guidance.
Learners will be hired on a temporary contract as Dispensary Support staff until they are registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as Learner Basic Assistants.
Once they become a certified Basic Pharmacist Assistant, they may be offered a permanent job.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
– Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
– Have studied Pure Mathematics
– Have studied Physical Science or Life Science
– Have a minimum average of 50%
– Show good academic performance in related subjects
