Job Description
Responsibilities
– Create a welcoming, inspiring, and personal experience for every customer
– Help increase sales and store income by encouraging and motivating team members to meet sales goals
– Make sure the store looks great by following visual merchandising standards
– Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
– Manage stock levels, prevent stock loss, and reduce shrinkage
– Ensure all products have the correct prices with proper tags or signs
– Check stock take and cycle count reports, look into any differences, and report stock shortages or unbalanced stock to the Area Manager
– Follow point of sale and banking procedures and let the Area Manager know about any issues
– Follow all store standards and company policies and procedures
– Successfully carry out all store operations
Requirements
– Have a high school diploma or equivalent
– Love cosmetics, retail, and customer service
– Know about beauty and skincare products
– Be customer–focused and committed to excellent service
– Have a strong work ethic and be willing to do hands-on tasks
– Be able to work flexible hours to meet store needs
– Be comfortable using email and Excel
– Have good communication skills
– Stay calm and friendly when things get busy
– Be able to stand for long periods
– Be able to show and promote products
– Be able to make your store exciting, which will encourage your team and get customers to return and buy more
