We are seeking a qualified Driver who also has experience in operating a forklift to become part of our team.
The perfect person for this role will be in charge of moving goods and materials to different places and will also safely use a forklift to load and unload items as needed. This job demands a lot of focus, good communication, and the ability to work quickly and well in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
– Carry goods and materials to and from set locations in a safe and on-time way
– Use a forklift to load and unload items from trucks, storage areas, and production lines
– Follow all safety rules and guidelines when using the forklift
– Check vehicles and equipment before and after each use to make sure they are working properly
– Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and equipment maintenance
– Talk clearly with team members and supervisors to organize delivery times and ensure customer satisfaction
– Follow all company rules and procedures, including driving laws and forklift operation standards
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
– Proven experience as a Driver and Forklift Operator
– Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift safely and efficiently
– Strong communication and organization skills
– Attention to detail and the ability to work either alone or as part of a team
– Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a bonus
