Position Summary: Welds metallic elements the usage of quite a number arc and fuel welding gear to fabricate or restore marine vessels, computing device parts, and associated equipment. Includes aluminium structures, pipe bending, and marine fabrication.

Identify and mitigate security hazards.
Ensure compliance with PPE insurance policies and protected working procedures.

Production:
Weld metallic components the use of arc welding tactics (stick, MIG, TIG).
Fabricate and weld aluminium structures.
Bend and weld pipes for marine vessels.
Interpret blueprints and assemble tools accordingly.

Essential Criteria:
Boilermaker / welder alternate certificate.
Minimum 3-5 years marine fabrication experience.
Minimum 4.5 end result (IELTS) English Literacy Test
Ability to work unsupervised.
Competent in arc welding.
Effective verbal exchange skills.
Ability to examine and interpret plans and drawings.
Demonstrated marine fabrication techniques.
Demonstrated arc welding capabilities
Physical Requirements:
Able to raise 10-20 kilograms.
Manoeuvre in restrained areas and work at heights.
Work in warm and noisy environments.
Hours of Duty:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:15 pm
friday: 7:00 am – 2:30 pm
