REQUIREMENTS : Applicants should be in possession of an NQF stage three (Grade 10 certificate).Minimum of 1 12 months of experience. Job associated knowledge: Establishment of pastures, planting and cultivation of crops. Basic calculations for mixing and application quotes of herbicides and pesticides. Calibration of planters and crop sprayers. Functioning, protection and restore of farm gear and infrastructure. Job associated skills: Operating a tractor, Operating specialised machinery such as TLB, Bulldozer etc, Using of extraordinary implements, Planting and harvesting of crops. Road Maintenance. A legitimate driver’s license (Code C1).
DUTIES : Operate a tractor with quite a number implements (such as ploughs, Rippers, Planters,crop sprayers etc) connected to aid with the bodily execution of a range of general farming activities, via inter alia: Land cultivation, Planting, Tillage,
Harvesting, Transportation of a number goods, Fire fighting, fencing activities,
Mowing of garden etc. Perform avenue and firebreak protection works and construction associated features by using the use of terrific machinery. Operate a specialised equipment (such as harvesters, drilling equipment, excavators,sewer jetting laptop etc.) Perform automobile protection and administrative
support things to do along with inter alia the following: Ensure the protected storage,
cleaning and hobbies preservation of vehicle. Ensure the security storage,cleaning and pursuits preservation of implements. Maintain a farm car .month and kilometre logbook and file accordingly. Ensure the well timed reporting of defects to mechanical workshop in order to forestall in addition
damage. Assist with dishing out and receiving gas and oils.
