SALARY: R261 372 \u2013 R307 890 per annum. The selected candidate will be required
to sign a performance agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CENTER: Magistrate’s Office: Kimberley<\/p>\n\n\n\n
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 and National Diploma: Legal Interpretation at NQF Level 5 or any other
equivalent qualification in the field of languages \u200b\u200bwith a minimum of three (3)
years of practical experience as a court interpreter or grade 12 with ten (10)
years of practical experience as a court interpreter; Knowledge of Legislation
that governs transparency and confidentiality in the Public Function (Law 2 of
2000) as amended; A valid driver’s license. Language requirements: IsiXhosa,
Setswana, English, Afrikaans are required; Skills and competencies: Excellent communication, Listening, Interpersonal relations; Problem resolution; planning and organization skills and analytical thinking; Time management;
Confidentiality and ability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Performance Areas: Manage and supervise interpreters; Do
interpretation services; Translate legal documents and exhibits; Develop
terminology; Help with the reconstruction of court records; Attend administrative aspects of personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
