Knowledge: Departmental policies and procedures.<br>Occupational Safety and Health Act, as amended, Regulation (21), South Africa<br>National Standards (codes \u2013 Incorporated Codes become regulations,<br>Occupational Injury and Illness Compensation Law, Unemployment<br>Insurance Law. Skills: planning and organization, communication skills, computing<br>Literacy, facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, conflict management skills, negotiation,<br>Problem solving Verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUTIES: Independently plan and conduct inspection in order to ensure compliance<br>with the Law on Safety and Health at Work, Law 85 of 1993, Regulations and<br>Built-in rules. To confirm enrollment in Unemployment Insurance<br>and the Law on Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Illnesses. Plan,<br>independently investigate and finalize reported incidents and complaints<br>to the OHS Act and relevant regulations and enforce when necessary,<br>appear in court as a state witness.
