A post graduate qualification will be a strong<br>recommendation. A minimum of three years direct experience in the<br>development and implementation of corporate strategy, planning, performance<br>information architecture, monitoring and evaluation environment is required.<br>Special requirements (skills needed): Good research, writing skills, analytic,<br>communication, report writing and presentation skills. Understanding and<br>interpretation of relevant regulatory frameworks, Acts, Regulations and<br>Policies. Sound understanding of Government planning and performance<br>information related frameworks, risk management, and monitoring and<br>evaluation. Excellent end user computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS<br>PowerPoint. Astute programme and project management skills. Must be able<br>to function under pressure and against deadlines in collaboration with senior<br>and middle management. Experience in dealing with integrated planning or<br>strategic issues at least at both DOD and Services\/Divisional or corporate level<br>in the Public Service. Must be able to comply with the security clearance<br>processes of the Department of Defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUTIES : The key responsibility is to ensure the institutionalization and establishment of<br>an operational organizational performance information management<br>philosophy and practice in the Department of Defence. Enable the overarching<br>DOD SD Policy through organisational performance information management<br>architecture. The management, monitoring and implementation of the DOD<br>Performance Information Policy and Plan and related performance<br>management governance. The development, implementation and<br>management of the DOD Performance Information Timeline. Manage the<br>Performance Information ICT enabler and the Performance Information<br>Management System (PIMS) as well as content and system design,<br>implementation and maintenance. Facilitate integrated planning &amp; reporting in<br>accordance with the DOD PI Plan and technical indicator datasheets. Manage<br>Performance Information interventions and \/ or facilitation and training on<br>specialised Performance Information matters. Management of the sub-<br>directorate to ensure effectiveness and productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ENQUIRIES : Mr P.
