REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 certificate, an excellent SAQA-identified NQF level 4 qualification in Office
Management. Must be organized to work autonomously and underneath pressure. Knowledge of Batho
Pele principles, the operation of the telecommunication system, and the front workplace etiquette are essential. The
applicant needs to have the following skills: problem-solving, communication, laptop literacy,
and customer orientation.
DUTIES: Attend to all incoming and outgoing smartphone calls, direct calls to the applicable official/office,
render onsite and online receptionist services, ensure proper protection of tools, and coordinate
travel and assembly bookings and telephonic calls. Maintain the cellphone listing for the
District Office, hold applicable files. Receive and re-route incoming mail and packages.
Ensure no traveller proceeds to the workplace without first verifying with the applicable workplace and signing in.
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the reception area.
