ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
SALARY : R477 090 per annum
CENTER : Labor Center, Lephalale
REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) year National Diploma (NQFL 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (NQFL 7) in Electrical Engineering. Four (4) years of functional experience in Electricity Engineering services and valid driver’s license.
Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Law and Regulations, Law and Regulations of SST, OHSAS, Standards of SST, SST Management system. Skills: Facilitation, Planning and Organization, IT literacy, interpersonal, problem solving, communication (verbal and written),
Innovative, Analytical, Research, Project Management.
DUTIES : Provide inputs for the development of electrical engineering policies and ensure the implementation of the OHS strategy for the Department of Employment and Labor in terms of the SSO Legislation. Perform complex inspections to Electrical Engineering regularly according to the OHS program. technical conduct
research on the latest trends in Electrical Engineering in terms of Occupational Health and security. Provide support for enforcement action, including preparation of reports for judicial processes.
