INSPECTOR
SALARY: R211 713 per annum
CENTER: Kuruman Labor Center: Northern Cape
REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years relevant qualification in Labor Relations/BCOM Law/LLB. TO valid driver’s license. No experience necessary. Knowledge: Departmental
policies and procedures, Skills Development Act, Labor Relations Act, Employment Conditions Act, Unemployment Insurance Act, Unemployment
Law of Insurance Contributions. Skills: Facilitation, planning and organization skills.
(Own work), Computer Science (Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and word processing),
Interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Interview skills Analytical skills Verbal and written communication skills, Labor Equity Law.
DUTIES: Carry out work inspections in order to ensure compliance with all the Labor laws. Execute investigations into reported cases related to contravention of labor laws and enforce where and when necessary.
Carry out proactive inspections (Blitz) on a regular basis to monitor compliance with
Labor legislation. Assist in carrying out the Labor Defense Campaign legislation regularly. Assist in the drafting of inspection plans, reports and
compilation of statistics on assigned cases.
