SALARY : R321 543 per annum

REQUIREMENTS: Senior Certificate plus a 3-year recognized qualification in the relevant field,
that is, Mechanical Engineering; Engineering in mechatronics. Current driver’s license.
No experience necessary. Knowledge: Departmental policies and procedures,
Occupational Health and Safety Act, as amended, Regulation (21), South African National Standards (Codes): Incorporated codes become regulations, Occupational Injury and Illness Compensation Law, Unemployment

DUTIES: Independently plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Law on Safety and Health at Work, Law 85 of 1993, Incorporated regulations and standards. To confirm registration with the
Unemployment Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Law and Disease Law. Independently plan, investigate, and terminate incidents and reported complaints related to the OHS Law and the regulations and enforce as and when necessary, appear in Court as a State witness. plan and conduct proactive inspections assigned according to schedule to monitor compliance with the relevant labor legislation, including, compiling and consolidating
reports emanating from said inspections. Plan and carry out promotional activities
campaigns on all labor legislation independently, analyze their impact, consolidate and compile report. Contribute at a higher level to planning,
drafting and maintenance of regional inspection plans and reports, including, execution of analyzes and preparation of consolidated statistical reports on regional and assigned cases.
