SALARY: R211 713 per annum

REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) year Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Relations/BCOM Law/LLB. Valid
Driver’s license. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Skills
Development Law, Labor Relations Law, Basic Employment Conditions Law,
Skills Development Levy Law, Unemployment Insurance Law, UI Contribution
Employment Equity Act, Unemployment Insurance Act and Unemployment Insurance Contribution Law. Skills: Facilitation skills, Planning and organization, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills,
Interview Skills, Analytical, Employment Fairness Law, Verbal and Written communication skills.
DUTIES: Carry out work inspections in order to ensure compliance with all the
labor laws. Execute investigations into reported cases related to contravention of labor laws and enforce where and when necessary.
Carry out proactive inspections (Blitz) on a regular basis to monitor compliance with
Labor legislation. Carry out promotional campaigns on the resources identified and assigned. Labor legislation. Assist in the drafting of inspection plans, reports and compilation.
