Conditions:
Three-year national diploma / degree (NQF 6) is an equivalent qualification that allows you to enroll in Environmental Health or HPCSA as an Environmental Health Professional. Proof of registration with the South African Council of Health Professionals (HPCSA) as an environmental health professional. No experience is required after enrolling in the relevant profession at HPCSA, as for qualified RSA employees who performed Community Service, as required in South Africa. Significant one (1) year of experience in the relevant Profession after being registered with the HPCSA for qualified foreign workers, including those who do not need to serve Community Service in South Africa. Current South African Driving License. Know and understand the professional field of environmental health professionals. He must be willing to travel and work on an irregular schedule and on holidays when needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentations and communication). Skills in preparation for National and Provincial Campaigns. Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint skills. Excellent presentation skills. Adequate coordination and negotiation skills. Ability to gather, compile, analyze and write information / data. Ability to solve problems with proven analytical skills. A high level of diligence and commitment to ensure that all tasks are carried out in a tight and timely manner, with the required quality result. Understand the concept of the Department’s Annual Performance and Strategic Plans. Knowledge of policy analysis, development, research and information management. Knowledge and ability to plan and manage projects. Recognize the following important laws: Civil Service Act, Civil Service Regulation, Public Finance Management Act, Risk Management, National Health Act and other legal frameworks of the public health sector and related policies and other prescriptions. Functions:
Assist and assist the Hospital Management in complying with the legal background, strategies and guidelines related to Environmental Health (EH). EH National and Ideal Hospital Rules and Regulations. Participate in the Infection and Prevention Control Group, including Covid-19 activities. Promote and advocate for climate change mitigation strategies and WASH. Consolidate weekly and monthly program plans and reports Relationship with the EH Provincial Program Ensure that public service policies, strategies and guidelines are implemented. Assist the supervisor in any other activities related to the delegated EH.
